Description & Materials This is an introductory course in fiction writing designed to provide students with the skills necessary to begin writing short stories. The course exposes students to the basic structural and thematic elements of fiction, such as character, conflict, image, theme and point of view.

Prerequisite: ENC 1101 or test score equivalency or test equivalency
