Description & Materials This course prepares students to write expository and argumentative prose and to analyze their roles in contemporary culture. The course is designed to help students improve their grasp of standard written English, library research, critical analysis, and creative thinking.

This course is taught within an online learning management system, and therefore you must have access to the Internet. Once you register for the course, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your online course. This course is designed for students who are native English speakers or fluent non-native English-speaking students who have achieved at least a 500 TOEFL score or possess the equivalent abilities.
