Flexible Learning/Correspondence Study provides flexible distance education for students. Our programs rely on open enrollment, distance learning options, and multiple modes of delivery to create access and meet student needs.

  • Print-based Courses
These are traditional Correspondence Study courses that provide the option to submit assignments by fax, postal service, or online.

  • Online-only Learning Management System (LMS) Courses
These are completely online distance learning courses*. A learning management system (LMS) is a secure online course environment that allows students and instructors to email each other, share files, and post grades. The LMS allows for additional course materials such as audio files, slides, links to helpful websites, class notes, and more, which are unavailable in our print-based courses.

Since 1919 we have provided distance learning opportunities for students who wish to take courses in order to begin college programs early, take courses with conflicting times or closed sections, meet prerequisites, pursue professional development goals, or for personal enrichment. Our courses' content and requirements parallel their on-campus counterparts.
