This course provides basic information on the principles and terminology for bailbond agents. Successful completion of this course is one of several requirements set by the Department of Financial Services for those interested in the Limited Surety Agents license (2-34) and Professional Bail Bondsman license (2-37). To obtain the step-by-step process to become a bail bond agent in Florida and the locations of the required classroom course, go to the Florida Surety Agents Association website at www.fsaa.com. This is a pre-licensure course and does not provide continuing education units (CEUs). For students with regular internet access, there is also an INS 3 online course option.
