We greatly appreciate and value the role of the student academic advisor.

In general, the academic advisor helps students to visualize and articulate their academic goals, and then provides support and advice to students as they construct a plan to pursue those goals. The adviser is usually able to answer questions about academic policies and procedures, educate students about academic resources available to them, and help students to choose or change a major based on their ultimate goals and passions. More specifically, as advisor, you are available to help students plan their program of study, resolve problems, clarify major requirements, help students develop plans for completing those requirements, secure approval for taking a Flexible Learning course, offer information about important academic resources and opportunities, and provide valuable career guidance.

We recognize your significant role as an invaluable academic resource for students throughout their academic program. We seek to help you fulfill this role in any way we can. Please contact us if you have any questions about our program or courses.

Please refer to our Advisor Newsletter issues. Contact us with your email address if you would like to get on the mailing list.
